I was up all night composing a track for an upcoming project and found myself at a loss for percussion ideas until I started thinking about...guns. I've had various gun sounds laying about for the last few months and figured I'd do a little something with 'em.

Today I'm in the studio putting the finishing touches on our first Bonita Applebum release, Why Can't Love. I took a day last week between all of the freestyling and writing of songs for some pretty awesome folks (more on that in a later post) to work on the cover art for the single.

Today's song almost didn't happen. It's Saturday. I had a wicked Friday night which in one sense is still going - y'know how that goes. No excuses though, this is something I'm married to and we're here to put my skills under a lens via the internets. Today's meditation is on...myself.
